Patient is a lovely 65-year-old Caucasian female who complained of having “huge, 36-E sized breasts with old, encapsulated saline implants done in 1996.” She does not know the volume or brand of her old, saline implants. She states that she “wants them out” and does not wish to have any more replacement implants, and she also desires to become a much smaller B/C-cup size. On exam, she had submuscular, intact old implants with superior malposition and waterfall deformities with Grade II Ptosis and wide areolas. She is a very good candidate to undergo Bilateral Explantations with my new, Autologous (Signature “Dr Q”) Breast Tissue Flaps transfer reconstructions into the central cavity to give her pretty volume without the concave-in deformities most notable after explants without replacement implants. She is super happy with her results and states that the procedure “gave her a new life” and she only “wishes she knew about me sooner!” This is a very early 4 month postop result and will look even better after 6 months to a year so we can update the photos then!
