Patient is a lovely 40 year-old Hispanic female, mother of 2 via NSVD who complains of her “loose, hanging tummy skin and squishy fat” and desires a flatter tummy. Her highest weight was 210 pounds and Nadir was 167 pounds which was her “goal weight”. On exam, she had a moderate abdominal pannus with truncal lipodystrophy, mons ptosis, and a rather “boxy” body habitus. She underwent Abdominoplasty surgery with Rectus plications, Exparel injections for improved, prolonged postoperative pain-control and lipoplasty of her trunk and she is thrilled with her new, slimmer shape!
